Packaging therefore appears in a category where millions of consumers repeatedly handle the same type of product at home, in grocery stores, cafés, offices, and subscription deliveries.

Frequency gives design consistency more weight. A roaster selling 2,000 bags per month creates 24,000 physical brand contacts per year before counting photographs, retail displays, or bags seen by other household members. Changing typography, logo position, finish, or bag color between production runs makes the range harder to recognize, while stable specifications let different coffees sit together as one product family.

That system does not require every SKU to look identical. A roaster can keep the same logo position, type family, package format, and information layout while assigning separate colors to espresso, decaf, filter, and single-origin products.
